Sadie Maria is a sweet 5 yr old Sharpei mix who so deserves a wonderful forever home.
 When she was a pup, someone cut her ears off to make her look like a 'mean' dog. She turned out to be a sweetheart, and not the fighter they wanted her to be, so they turned her in to animal control to await certain death.
Sadie Maria has nothing but true love and tenderness to give. She is a bit wary of people until she gets to know them. This is just her way of protecting herself from harm. After she learns that you are OK, all she wants to do is give you kisses and get hugs from you.
Sadie Maria would be perfect for someone who just wants a friend. She is very low maintenance; she does not require much time or attention, just love.
Sadie Maria needs to go to a home without young children. She could get used to them, but they pretty much terrify her. Her foster mom has horrible neighbors whose grandkids throw rocks and sticks at her over the wood fence. She never growled or barked at them, just ducked and ran away.
Sadie Maria weighs 65 pounds, and is fully grown. She is up to date on all of her shots and has been spayed. She is heartworm negative, and is on preventative.
Sadie Maria likes to come inside the house and get on the couch. If you are a couch potato, and want someone to snuggle with, then Sadie Maria is the girl for you...
